About Us
Moalosi Duncan Serapelwane is a Black South African Bonsmara Stud Breeder who took over the farming generation business from his father in 2002 with a different farming model.
Before then they started farming at Vaniekerk Farm (government farm) with his father. With less than 25 cows he started farming. He has been in the farming industry for the past 21 years. The MDS brand only got to be registered in 2007 and by doing so was to create a legacy, not only for himself but for generation to come. His children and children’s children. That is why we call it a Generation to Generation business.
What We Do
Our main focus Is to produce quality bulls and heifers, to assist emerging farmers to be able to improve their stock both black and white farmers. Also in assisting upcoming young farmers with mentorship, information in the Agricultural basis and hosting farmers day.
Mentorship
Mentorship is an essential tool for personal and professional growth, providing guidance and support to individuals as they work towards achieving their goals. Mentors offer feedback and advice, helping mentees to identify and pursue realistic goals.
MDS Mentors/Mentored students from Potchefstroom college, and we don’t only mentor in South Africa but across boarders as well as Botswana.
Currently we are doing Mentorship tours, talks where recently we were in Rustenburg invited by African Farming to give out Mentorship talk about Producing quality bulls and Heifers.
